
Black Swallowtail
Scientific name: Papilio polyxenes asterius Stoll
(Lepidoptera: Papilionidae)
Facts: Larvae of the black swallowtail feed on celery, carrots, and dill. These caterpillars are yellow with black stripes across the back.
